Osaka Garden is a free Japanese strolling garden on Wooded Island in Jackson Park, with a moon bridge, koi pond, stone lanterns and cherry trees. In fall, the foliage shifts from green to gold, orange and red, and the leaves collect along the paths and on the water. The scenery looks different from one week to the next, which makes it a nice place for a relaxed walk or photos. The garden is open Tuesday through Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM, and staff are on site. There has been a 50-person limit at busy times, so expect a possible wait on weekends.
